From February 25th to March 1st, the Contemporary Art Fair ARCO 2015 is held in Madrid.
In Hall 7, at the stand of Gallery Miguel Marcos (7E08) you may find the latest works of Romulo Royo, the Goddesses of Nibiru series.

In the series Goddesses of Nibiru, Royo reflects the game of the myth and reality. The delicacy and strength represented by the female figure. He captures beautiful, enigmatic and sometimes veiled factions, as if it were a dream or illusion. The costumes and ornaments he decorates them with are timeless, objects that can remember us ancient civilizations: feathers and dressings with metal pieces that are contrasted with futuristic elements, like strange hats. In some cases, paintings have light coming out of the neck of some of these characters. Romulo Royo says that the neck is the communication and relation of the inside with the outside, it is the union of the spiritual body with the material and he wanted to represent in these Goddesses, a form of communication through the light exiting the neck.
