FROM JULY 13th TO SEPTEMBER 14th 2025
Artists Luis Royo y Romulo Royo have opened a new exhibition titled “Fantasy”, on display at center Masia Bas in Platja d’Aro (Girona) from July 13th to September 14th 2025.
On July 13th, the Fantasy exhibition by Luis Royo and Romulo Royo was inaugurated at the iconic Masia Bas in Platja d’Aro, a unique venue that combines historic architecture with a carefully curated cultural program in the heart of the Costa Brava. The exhibition brings together a selection of works that delve into the imaginary worlds and fantastical atmospheres that define the creative universe of both artists. It opens the door and invites visitors to embark on a visual journey through realms of boundless imagination, haunting beauty, and epic storytelling.

“Fantasy” brings together both published and previously unseen pieces, offering a rich and immersive aesthetic experience. Through this exhibition, Luis Royo and Romulo Royo explore the visual codes of fantastic art with their signature style: figures of power and mystery, surreal settings, and meticulous painting techniques that turn each work into a story waiting to be discovered.
This exhibition not only immerses viewers in the artists’ creative universe but also affirms the value of fantasy as a contemporary artistic language, where symbolism and emotion find new forms of expression. The exhibition is conceived as an open door to wonder.

Afterwards, they shared with attendees details about the artistic process behind the pieces. As a special memento of the opening, attendees received a limited-edition commemorative gift, created specifically for the occasion. The reception from the public was exceptional, with enthusiastic participation and a warm, engaging atmosphere between the artists and visitors.
